• Estimate & Feasibility Inquiries (Uncompleted): Retained for twelve (12) months to facilitate prospective geothermal re-quotes.
• Active Project Contracts, Invoices & Rebate Records: Retained for seven (7) years in compliance with Massachusetts, Connecticut, and federal tax accounting standards (including Mass Save, Energize CT, and Federal Section 25D/48 audit rules).
• Master Geothermal Borehole Logs & Loop Manifold Schematics: Retained for the operational lifetime of the geothermal heating system. Ground-source borehole depths, thermal conductivity test results, and loop field diagrams are permanent property infrastructure assets required for future heat pump replacements and municipal building safety records.
